iMessage for ecommerce
Answer shoppers on iMessage with an agent trained on your store, and hand the conversation to your team when it needs a person.

Hands off to your team
A person takes over when a conversation needs one.
A line per merchant
Shopping platforms give each merchant their own number.
How it works
Give your store a dedicated number and let customers text it. With Comms by Osis, a hosted agent answers on iMessage using your shipping, returns and product information, and hands the conversation to a person when it needs one. Android shoppers get RCS on eligible lines or SMS.
Your store or ecommerce platform can also send through the API, for example an order question or a follow-up to a shopper who asked to hear from you, and receive replies as signed webhooks.

Cart reminders
Only for shoppers who have opted in to texts. Send a reminder from your own cart or checkout events through the API to customers who agreed to hear from you; a cold text to someone who never opted in is not allowed.
Built-in Shopify cart follow-ups for opted-in conversations are in limited access.
Payments
Payment requests use checkout links only when the global Payments product and workspace payments are enabled and merchant requirements are met. Native in-thread Apple Pay is coming soon; checkout links are not native Apple Pay in Messages.
The Shopify connection and checkout links are available to approved workspaces; ask us if your store needs them.
For shopping platforms
Yes. Give each merchant a dedicated line, set the contact card to the merchant’s name and photo, and route inbound replies by the receiving line in your backend.
Dedicated is $200/month per line with $0 setup and up to 7,000 messages a day. A dedicated line is required to start conversations: on Free and Plus shared lines, the contact texts first.
Additional dedicated lines are set up with our team on an Enterprise plan.
